The Pacific Northwest Tool Collectors invite tool collectors everywhere to join us at the 12th Best in the West Tool Extravaganza to be held on 7-10 August 2008 at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washington.

Registration forms will be available by late January 2008.

The Shelton meeting site is located 30 minutes West of Olympia, WA.

We will have three major themes for the meeting:

• Northwest Logging Practices and Tools – including a field trip on 7 Aug led by Len Hunter
• Patented American Planes - major interpretive display by Cliff Sapienza
• Over 60 PNTC member displays on all aspects of collectible tools

Tailgating starts at dawn on Friday - Buffet dinner and viewing of displays Friday evening.

A CD/DVD will be professionally prepared by Sandor Nagyszalanczy documenting all aspects of the show.

Another new and original favor will be made by PNTC volunteers under the guidance of Paul Mueller.

Major tool auction will be held Saturday evening with on-line preview of many tools available early in 2008.

You are on your own to tour member collections in their homes on Sunday.
